Head of Regulatory Affairs – Esther Chartres

Esther’s early aspirations to be PE teacher took an interesting turn when she worked in a bakery during school and university holidays. Sparking her interest, it set her on a path into food. She’s worked in government roles covering subjects including food standards and labelling. Leaving the public sector in 2019 she now brings her experience to her regulatory role. And after 20 years in food she continues to  learn.
