Food Science Degree

Successful graduation will result in a BSc.

Most universities run combined degrees and there are many to choose from depending on your preferred area; Food Science and Microbiology, Nutrition, Business, Technology and so on.

Degree Length

Most degree courses are 3 years or 4 with a year’s placement.

Typically the main means of assessment is by exam.

Most universities require at least two science subjects at A Level.

Graduates are highly sought after for management, laboratory, academic, research and boardroom posts. For example, the University of Surrey claims to place more than 85% of their graduates into graduate level jobs.
